Pick A Deck

With a good match between the reader and the Tarot deck, you'll be inspired and your intuition will rise to the occasion. If you pick a Tarot deck that you're not as connected to, the results will suffer.

If you have a Tarot deck already, keep your Tarot cards in a convenient and safe location where they are accessible but also protected. Some Tarot card readers like to store their Tarot cards in silk or a protective box - it's a nice way to safe-guard your Tarot cards.

If other people have handled your Tarot deck and you feel like you need to 'cleanse' your Tarot cards, hold the deck firmly together and rap it against a firm surface several times to clear the energy. To charge my Tarot decks and increase my connection to them, I'll often slip a small quartz crystal in with them. I do notice an appreciable difference in how the Tarot decks feel afterwards.
