Tarot Card Reading Instructions

Pick a Spread

The next part of my Tarot card reading instructions focus on how to to pick a spread. Choosing a Tarot spread should be done based on a few factors, including the Tarot card reader's ability and subject of the Tarot reading.

The most common topic for Tarot card readings are relationship based questions. Many people want advice or information to improve the romantic relationship they have or to find the love that they want. As a result, there are many Tarot spreads dedicated to emotional matters. For those reasons, romantic Tarot spreads will be covered first in these Tarot card reading instructions.

Love Spreads:

If you (or your client) is looking for a general overview of the near future, the Zodiac Tarot Spread, and the Six Month Special Tarot Spread are excellent choices to give both broad and specific information to the querent.

For spiritual matters or issues where the questioner is trying to determine a life path, my preference is to create a custom Tarot spread for the reading. If you're new to creating an intuitive spread, it can be a little more challenging to interpret but it allows for a greater freedom of information.

For basic questions, the Classic Horseshoe Tarot Spread, Seven Stars Tarot Spread, Celtic Cross Tarot Spread, or the Four Card Tarot Spread are perfect choices to get a fairly basic overview.
